Baptism is a sacred and joyous occasion where believers publicly declare their faith in Jesus Christ and their commitment to follow him. As believers are immersed in water, they symbolize their identification with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection, affirming their desire to die to their old selves and be "Raised To Life" in Christ. Surrounded by the love and support of the church community, baptism becomes a tangible expression of God's grace and the believer's response of obedience and discipleship. Through this act, individuals publicly testify to their faith in Jesus and their desire to live transformed lives empowered by the Holy Spirit.
